This year’s EWTN Advent Retreat held at the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament was led by the Auxiliary Bishop of Denver James D. Conley. He spoke about Blessed John Henry Cardinal Newman.
The retreat presented an opportunity for employees of the network to prepare for the coming of Our Lord at Christmas. Employees and their spouses were invited to attend the retreat and spend time in prayer before the Blessed Sacrament. They also had the opportunity to meet with the Poor Clare nuns in the parlor. It was a grace-filled time for all participants including those friars who attended.
