On August 9th, our community celebrated the annual Re-enthronement of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Eucharistic procession for Annunciation Friary.
Brs. Tarcisius, Paschal, and Matthew organized the occasion with other friars helping to serve the procession.
Fr. Anthony was the celebrant and carried a monstrance holding the Blessed Sacrament all throughout the friary and House of Studies facility, blessing each room along the way. Amidst the singing of hymns, Fr. Anthony was led by a crucifix-bearer, a statue of the Sacred Heart, and a thurifer.
The procession began in the Friary Chapel with an exhortation by Fr. Anthony followed by prayers for the re-enthronement. During the procession, we paused in the refectory for continued prayers of consecration.
